Details Of New Honda CBR1000 Fireblade Released

New Honda CBR1000 2010Here is the long awaited 2010 Honda Fireblade.

Taking over from the current model, the new addition to the Fireblade family has got big boots to fill, but we think it’s going to do well.

In terms of style, Honda have waved goodbye to the old tail unit, replacing it with sharper rear styling with a new tail light and clear lens. Couple this with the new eye-catching colour range – which includes Digital Silver Metallic with Orange, Graphite Black with white and black striping, the old faithful HRC Tricolour scheme and an all new, special Graphite Black model – and you’ve got one smart looking Fireblade.

In terms of technical advancements, the 2010 Blade also has a few of these up it’s sleeve. There’s a new exhaust muffler and aluminium cover, and the option of ABS still remains should you want it. Also, the inertia mass of the crankshaft has been re-developed to assist further in throttle control. So it must be heavier, I hear you say? No, actually. Light weight components used elsewhere throughtout the bike mean that it has not increased in weight and remains the sleek mean racing machine it always was.

We can’t wait to get our hands on one in the flesh! We’ll let you know how we get on…
