JOB VACANCY: Motorcycle Valeter

About the role

Two Wheel Centre (Mansfield) is looking for an exceptional motorcycle valeter to join its sales team.

We are known for selling some of the highest quality second hand motorcycles throughout the UK, and second-hand sales are one of the most important areas of our business.  

The immaculate presentation of our second-hand bikes is absolutely crucial. We’re looking for someone who will uphold our standards and maintain our excellent reputation for bike preparation.  

Essential skills and experience

Candidates must: 

Have experience of cleaning and preparing motorcycles to a high standard (whether personally or professionally);

Have the technical skills allowing for mechanical strip down and rebuild of bikes to facilitate thorough and exceptional cleaning;
Have the technical skills to fully prepare a bike ready for sale including, but not limited to; basic service work, tyre changing, brake pads replacement, chain and sprocket changes;
Have a strong eye for detail;  
Be diligent, efficient and trustworthy; and 
Have a genuine interest in our business and industry.

Desirable skills and experience

Candidates will ideally: 

Hold a full car and motorcycle riding licence (according to age) and;
Have previous experience in a similar role.

Career progression

Although your core role will be valeting and basic servicing, for the right candidate who shows the necessary potential, dedication and commitment we may arrange higher level technical training courses or an apprenticeship.
