Do you ride a motorcycle and have updated your DVLA records recently?

It would appear that a recent spate of licences have been returned to their owners missing their motorcycle entitlement, meaning that you could be riding around illegally if the error goes unnoticed.
More annoyingly, some individuals who complained to the DVLA about the missing permissions were told that the DVLA had no record of the individual actually passing their bike test, and that they would have to undergo a full motorcycle re-test in order to have their motorcycle entitlement re-instated.
The message? Check your licence immediately!
