In 1946 Edgar Held senior discovered his talent as a learned glove master and he and his wife Erma began a small family buisness (always the best we know!) producing street, car and motorcycle gloves. He realised his passion was for motorcyle gloves in particular and in 1975 they decided to market these further. The most succesful German rider ever, Tony Mang, backed the Held brand and these gloves became some of the best in Germany!
What was named as the most desirable gloves around were soon to be revealed to the rest of the world though.
Held really took flight and 5 years later they began to stock leathers, textiles and luggage. Growing in popularity every year they established a range of accesories, helmets and other necessities for motorcycle riders. 50 years later, they were stocking all over Europe and even in the US.
Their quality is next to none, making us extremely honoured to begin representing this caliber of brand in the UK. The superior fabrics such as Gore-Tex, Kevlar and TFL Cool Leather have all been integrated into these top notch products.
