In a world so dominated by Draggin Jeans, it is quite refreshing to come across another brand whose Kevlar jeans can compete in style, quality and little ‘added extras’.
The RST Kevlar Denim Jeans are by no means the under dog in this contest, but how do the two brands compare?
Well, the pros of Draggin Jeans first. They’re super quality without doubt, and are available in a range of colours that a teenage girl’s nail varnish collection would be proud of. There are a variety of styles so there is usually something to suit everyone.
Now, the pros of RST’s Kelvar jeans. They’re 30% cheaper in price than the Draggins, and where you would usually pay an extra £25 to Draggin for hip pockets and hip armour, the RSTs come with hip pockets as standard, so you can just whip some armour out of your winter jeans and off you go. What’s more, they come as standard with removable C.E approved knee armour in pockets – something that comes at an extra charge from Draggin in only certain designs.
However, it would be unfair to say that it was a one-horse race, as the Draggins do have more Kevlar coverage and, in our opinion, feel better.
So, here are the pros and cons as we see them. At the end of the day though, it is whatever floats your banana boat!
