Scorpion Exhausts have been part of TWC’s product portfolio for over 10 years now.
Over that time the product has gone from strength to strength, from a popular but not amazing exhaust to an exhaust which is, quite frankly, tough to beat.
Completely hand made in the UK (in fact, only a matter of twenty miles from ourselves), Scorpion exhausts are the result of the hard work, dedication and never-ending R&D conducted by the team at Scorpion. With a range of exhausts now stretching from high-end race silencers through to Factory replacements, there’s a Scorpion exhaust (or, often, several) to suit the most popular super sports, sports-touring, street and adventure bikes of today. Each exhaust is available in a range of finishes, too, so whether you’re after carbon fibre, satin titanium or stainless steel, a Scorpion exhaust will probably fit the bill.
Scorpion’s pride and care in their products also comes across in their after sales service. Scorpion are always on hand to assist, and what’s more, if you happen to bin your bike and damage your exhaust (touch wood that you won’t), they’ll replace your damaged silencer for half price. Terms and conditions obviously apply though!
The current range is headed up by the Scorpion RP1 GP Exhaust – a seriously lightweight, race spec silencer which is reserved for only the most elite supersports and street machines (the likes of the Fireblade, ZXs and Gixxers). A couple of other sports spec silencers bolster the range, with the Power Cone, Stealth and Carbine exhausts giving a variety of options. There’s also a Suzuki GSXR special exhaust, the Scorpion Tagma, which was released to celebrate the GSXR’s continued reign in the sportsbike realm.
But not everyone is after a race can. To suit most bikes, including supersports, sports-tourers, street and adventure bikes, the Scorpion Serket Exhaust is by far our best selling Scorpion exhaust. The Serket has a truly eye-catching design, and is available in either (or both) a parallel or tapered design to suit the lines of the specific bike. Also, the Serket is e-marked and ready to ride the road or track, and as with all of Scorpion’s exhausts, there’s no re-fuelling or re-mapping required; it’s simply a case of fitting and riding. The Serket is also supplied with a removable baffle (except on the XJ6 and S1000RR). There’s no wonder it is so popular.
The Scorpion Factory Exhaust is the real “bread and butter” of the Scorpion range – but don’t be deceived into thinking it is a damp squib! Starting at £249, you could be forgiven for thinking that the Factory Exhaust won’t pack much punch – but it does. You can also personalise it rather a lot, by choosing the sleeve material (carbon fibre, satin titanium or stainless) and then also choosing whether to adopt a carbon fibre outlet. Scorpion have developed the Factory for the majority of bikes served within their range.
So, overall, Scorpion Exhausts are a strong contender for your attentions. Make on demand, right here in the UK, with second-to-none after sales service, sensible prices and a diverse range to choose from, Scorpion are quite rightly one of the strongest brands of exhaust available right now.
Scorpion Exhausts can be purchased from Two Wheel Centre, with delivery taking five to ten working days.
