Shoei Helmets 2015: What’s New From Shoei

This year, Shoei have really pushed the boat out. Here’s our guide to the new graphics, designs and innovations from Shoei in 2015…

Shoei helmets just keep getting better and better! We’ve been staggered at the new technology and the range of designs and graphics that Shoei bring out every year, and 2015 is no different. You can find the full range of Shoei helmets on our website if you want to see for yourself. But wait…it gets better! Right now we’re feeling generous with our Future Spend deal, so you can get up to £75 to spend on future purchases online or in store when you buy any Shoei Helmet.

Introducing the Hornet ADV

The Hornet DS, Shoei’s dual sport helmet designed for on and off road riding, has been brought up to date this year and re-branded as the Hornet ADV. With a new aggressive style, the Hornet ADV offers a great balance between full-face protection and off-road performance. With a re-designed peak, new CNS-2 Pinlock visor and extra ventilation, Shoei have improved vastly upon the former design and created the ideal adventure biking helmet. It even features the E.Q.R.S. emergency cheek pad release system, which sets the new safety standard on all Shoei helmets. Check out our blog post on the Shoei Hornet ADV to find out more.

New Graphics

Going Gothic

This year, Shoei have introduced more new graphics than you can shake a stick at! Shoei have ventured into Gothic territory with their awesome new Brigand design (pictured) in the high-spec NXR sports helmet range. Also following the Gothic trend is the intricate and eye-catching Revive graphic in the GT-Air street helmet range, which features a flaming phoenix and looks great from every angle.

Racing Stripes

Shoei have also been inspired by the racing world for 2015, bringing in several new graphics that celebrate the checkered flag. The NXR range has the Terminus and the Lunar, and the GT-Air features the Cog graphic, which is inspired by the track and celebrates the mechanics of the bike itself.

New Replica Helmets

If you’re a racing fan, there’s no better way to follow your heroes than to own a replica helmet from the very same manufacturer that makes your sporting hero’s real race helmets. Shoei have brought out some new replica helmets this year for die-hard fans, so you can be part of the action.

Marc Marquez

Shoei have paid tribute to Marquez once again this year by introducing the Marquez Motegi replica helmet, which harks back to the days when he won the championship in his rookie year in 2013. His specially designed helmet for the Motegi GP featured the Japanese flag as a tribute to Shoei’s home – there’s a lot of love between Marquez and Shoei! The helmet itself is the X-Spirit 2, the top-end race helmet which really shows off Shoei’s expertise.

Bradley Smith

Shoei Helmets 2015 Bradley Smith replicaStaying with the GP, and a brilliant helmet for British fans, is the Bradley 2 replica helmet which is a tribute to the Yamaha Tech3 rider Bradley Smith. Smith has risen up the ranks of the MotoGP and made his first premier-class podium last year in Australia. He’s a great home-grown talent and you can show your support by wearing this replica helmet (pictured) which features the UK and English flags.

Shane Byrne

The NXR Shane Byrne replica is one fantastic-looking helmet, worthy of the 4-time BSB champion and racing legend Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne. This helmet features the same graphic that Shakey currently wears in the BSB, so watch out for a case of mistaken identity!

Off-road range extended

Shoei Helmets 2015 VFX-W If you’re into all things off road, and you’re serious about getting the best gear for the job, then the VFX-W range is second to none. Shoei have thrown the full weight of their expertise behind the design of the VFX-W, making this an extremely aerodynamic, well-ventilated and protective helmet.

Though the VFX-W is not completely new to the Shoei helmets 2015 range, it has been vastly expanded with a range of new graphics, like the Grant 2 (pictured) which features a vivid feather design and pays tribute to the American motocross star Josh Grant. Regardless of whether you’re a Grant fan or not, this helmet looks amazing – and so do all the other new graphics in the range.
