Shoei have just released their new 2010 range of motorcycle helmets. Among the new range you will see the new X-Spirit 2, the XR1100 and the latest addition, the Shoei Multitec Shearwater Flip Front.
The Shoei Multitec Shearwater is simply brilliant.
The standard Shoei Multitec was released three years ago and took the motorcycle world by storm. A quiet flip front helmet – which is in itself a very rare occurence – the Multitec has typical “Shoei-style” attention to detail. This produced a helmet which, in Shoei’s words, “didn’t only meet customers expectations, but blew them away”. It is open to arguement, but many think the Shoei Multitec still remains the best flip front helmet on the market today.
So, you can imagine our excitement when we hear whispers about the release of a new graphic Multitec – the Multitec Shearwater.
With all the features of the ever popular original Multitec, the Shearwater gives a splash of colour to what could otherwise be considered a pretty modest looking lid. But with the choice of blue, silver or gunmetal, the new Shearwater design offers a degree of freshness and youth which brightens the helmet without it becoming ‘garish’.
All in all, we suspect the Multitec Shearwater is set to be a rather large favourite. Available from January 2010, we are now taking pre-orders to ensure supply of these helmets is met quickly and reliably.
