Taz Taylor has won all but one of his races this year. He’s a serious star for the future.
But a change of this trend came about last weekend as Taz brought home three second placings, through no fault of his riding though. Riding at LLyd, Kent, Taz was unable to make the Friday qualifying session, and so was placed in 16th place on the grid on race day.
He battled through the masses though and by Lap 11 he was contesting the leader. His father Shane said it was some of the best riding he has ever seen Taz do, but luck wasn’t on his side again as the red flag flew and the race stopped. Two more second places followed in the next races.
The next outing for Taz is at Rowrah on the 16th/17th August, and after this a training session at Middlesborough on the 24th on his new Metrakit 80.
