So, what do the chaps at Two Wheel Centre do on their days off? Go shopping with their girlfriends? Wash their cars and do a bit of spring cleaning?
Far from it…
Instead, Steve ‘Cott’ Cottam, Mark Roberts and Russ Hunt headed out to Gonerby Moor, Grantham, for a day tearing up the dirt with their fleet of crossers.
Hiring out the track with a group of friends including BSB rider Chris ‘Stalker’ Walker, British Supersport rider Joe Dickinson, and 250 British Championship rider Mark ‘Mad Dog’ Davies, the guys had a top day with minimal injuries!
After snapping his rear mudguard on the first lap, Steve was the only casualty when he got stuck in some mud trying to overtake another rider and flew over the handlebars. Karma. He also sprained his wrist when he fell off before a jump. He’s a good rider, honest. It was just a bad day…
The guys are planning on getting out again soon, and Steve is racing this weekend at Gale Common, Selby. We’ll be sure to keep you informed!
My dad said at the end of the season if i win i can have a crosser. Any chance i could come with you for a blast around the track? Looks like fun.
