Alpinestars have yet again produced another top of the range stylish sports leather jacket – the Alpinestars GP-R Leather Jacket.
New for the Alpinestars 2011 collection, the GP-R Jacket flawlessly combines sport, style and safety.
The Alpinestars GP-R leather jacket is available in a standard leather option or a perforated leather option (priced equally), both of which have proved incredibly popular with sport riders.
The perforated GP-R jacket is described by Alpinestars as ‘a jacket that makes you feel as cool as you look’, and we fully agree. The extensive perforation in the leather panels really does provide superb air flow.
Although designed as a sports fit, the GP-R jacket doesn’t have a back hump which means it lends itself to many motorcycle pursuits without going to the extremes.
There are also removable and adjustable CE certified Bio Armour protectors in the elbows and shoulders.
What’s more, the Alpinestars GP-R leather jacket has longitudinal underarm Aramidic stretch panels, designed to keep the arms of the jacket well-fitted and gently styled to suit the riding position.
Combine this with an inner mesh lining which itself has stretch panel inserts and you’ll realise that there isn’t a whole lot which would improve the flexibility and fit of this jacket.
The Alpinestars GP-R Perforated Leather Jacket is available in Black or White, and the plain leather Alpinestars GP-R Jacket comes in White, Red, Green or Blue, in sizes UK 38 to 50.
