What type of motorcycle training does the school offer?
Primarily, you can go through three types of training…
The basic lessons are aimed at beginners, in the form of a one-day-long basic CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) course priced at £115 – read Abi’s FAQ’s post for more info.
The advanced training is split into two licences, A and A2. Both are four-day, two-module tests, usually completed in two blocks of two days, but are suited to two different age groups:
The A licence is a full and unrestricted licence for riders aged 24 and over, priced at £600. The A2 licence is for riders aged 19 to 23 on a bike with up to 47bhp, priced at a lower £550.
A theory test should be taken for both the A and A2 licences, and we can set you up on a re-test, check out our price list for all of our offerings.

- Feel safe whilst riding: instructors stay connected with US military spec’, high quality radios
- All safety equipment can be provided; helmet, armoured jacket, gloves and hi vis vests – with an optional £1 donation to LNAACT (Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance Charitable Trust)
- Lessons taught by experienced DSA approved instructors; Judith or Daren
- Training is offered 7 days a week, ideal if you work full-time
- Module 1 training can be conducted on the official DSA site
