The Gerbing T12 Gloves heat the entire back of the hand, as well as the length of each finger and thumb. This provides a much greater degree of warmth than heated grips or thermal gloves ever could – in fact, the difference is incredible.
The Gerbing T12 Gloves are a leather and textile combination glove, and with soft knuckle padding rather than hard knuckle armour, you can rest assured of a comfortable yet protective fit. With a waterproof and breathable Hipora lining, the gloves will keep you supremely warm and dry in even the worst weather conditions.
Another important feature of the Gerbing T12 gloves is their ‘hybrid’ design. The Gerbing T12 Gloves have the added versatility of being powered directly by the bike’s 12V battery, or by portable 12V battery packs. The battery packs, which are purchased as an optional extra, slot into purpose-made pockets on the cuffs of the gloves. This allows you to have that same focused heat on your hands where ever you go, without the need for being connected to your bike’s battery. What’s more, the batteries themselves can be set between three different temperature settings at the push of a button. At 100% heat you can expect an hour of intense heat, or on 50% this becomes two hours. Alternatively, on a day when there is only a brisk chill in the air (which would be most days in the UK!), you can set the batteries to 25% and enjoy up to four hours warmth whilst riding.
If, on the other hand, you prefer to power the Gerbing T12 gloves through connection to the bike’s battery, you can also benefit from multiple temperature settings. Alongside being supplied with wiring to connect to bike’s battery, each pair of Gerbing T12 gloves is delivered with an inline Junior Temperature Control Unit which provides four levels of heat, again adjusted at just the press of a button.
