The GSXR 1000 and the GSXR 1000R – Available now!

Suzuki GSXR 1000 MotoGP BlueGSXR 1000 – Iconic to say the least!

The GSXR name has been heard around the world and roaring its way into 2017 is the latest addition to the family; the new GSXR 1000!

Power! Plenty of it!

An all-new 999.8cc liquid cooled inline four-cylinder engine with DOHC powers the GSXR 1000. Suzuki’s precision engineers designed the engine to provide high top-end torque without surrendering the mid and low-end torque. This has been achieved by the Ride-by-Wire throttle body and a new variable valve timing (VVT) system.

The GSXR 1000 is further improved by the newly crafted, aerodynamically tested aluminium frame which is 10% lighter and a tighter overall design.

Couple this with new Showa BPF (Big Piston Front) forks and rear shock for brilliantly reactive suspension and new Brembo front brake rotors and 4 piston calipers with ABS and you’ve got a bike that handles, stops and performs beautifully, providing the rider with the constant feeling of being in control of the bike on any road in any situation.

Stay in the know and in control

Further to the performance and control of the bike, the new GSXR 1000 offers a MotoGP inspired LCD dashboard with an exclusive ten mode Motion Track Traction Control System (MT-TCS) which allows the rider to provide themselves with the suitable level of traction control to suit their ability.

The LCD dashboard also offers the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector. This allows the rider to choose the power output levels based on their confidence and ability. Offering other information such as tachometer, odometer and other useful information in a clear and well laid out screen, the rider always remains in the know regarding their bike.

Still need more?

Still not satisfied with the 2017 GSXR 1000? Why not push that little bit further with the 2017 GSXR 1000R! Take everything that makes the 2017 GSXR 1000 such a fantastic and well-built machine and add on further advancements!
A Bi-Directional quick shifter, lean angle sensitive ABS, launch control, a lightweight upper yoke and lightweight battery, Showa BFF (Balance Free Front) suspension and much more! With all these added extras, you’ve got a bike capable of anything you can throw at it!

To the Alps and beyond!

Mark and his GSXR 1000

Proving that the GSXR 1000 is capable of being much more than a fairweather fancy at weekends and track days, Mark Chapman purchased a brand new GSXR 1000 from Two Wheel Centre and took it for a awe-inspiring test ride. Undertaking a trip involving some brilliant roads including the Stelvio Pass, San Bernadino Pass and various other roads throughout Switzerland, Nothern Italy and more, Mark was seriously impressed by how good the GSXR 1000 performs and handles in a variety of conditions.
