Hit-Air Inflatable Airbag Motorcycle Clothing – FREE UK DELIVERY

Hit-Air jackets and vests are up there at the top when it comes to motorcycle safety clothing, with their patented airbag technology. The Hit-Air range is being worn by International police forces as well as Moto GP riders who are also wearing airbag technology suits.

Basically as soon as the rider is thrown off the motorcycle, the Hit-Air garment will be activated and the item will inflate. The CO2 gas released from the gas canister inflates the urethane airbag instantly. The areas of the garment which do inflate are the areas most likely to be exposed in an accident and are the areas likely to cause the most damage during the impact of an accident. The airbag technology covers the neck, chest, sides and back. As well as inflating a hip area which is exposed and hangs down when the garment is inflated.

The Hit-Air range of safety jackets and vests inflate in 0.5 of a second, which testing has proved is enough time to inflate before the impact of any surroundings. When Hit-Air have produced such a high quality range of products, why would you even consider getting on a bike without wearing one of the Hit-Air vests or jackets. These systems could go as far as to save your life and are available in a jacket or vest option. In either plain black or a florescent hi-viz colour for additional safety.

The pull cord which is the first point of the process activated upon impact and triggers the airbag technology is attached from the Hit-Air safety clothing to the riders bike. The pull cord has to be pulled by a force of approximately 35kg to activate. That is the equivalent of a 4.5 stone child hanging from the cord. So it is highly unlikely the cord can be pulled unintentionally, but you will probably notice and stop the inflation before it actually happens. The pull cord is attached to the garment from the bike using a connect one touch clip release system, so as soon as you hear the sound of a click you know your protected.

We can supply all spare parts for the Hit-Air range should you require. If inflated but not damaged beyond use, the garment can be de-flated and re-used as normal, all instructions on how to replace the canister are included with the purchase of the Hit-Air item.
