Yamaha have released images of the new look R6, and it is beautiful.
A far cry from the tacky colours of yester year, the 2010 R6 combines the unarguably sleek sports styling and lines with sophisicated yet imposing colour schemes.
Available in blue and white, or a choice of solid black or white, the younger siblings of Yamaha’s brilliant R1 have finally, deservedly, stepped out from beneath it’s shadow.
And technically, it can hold it’s own too.
With improvements made including the revised YCC-I (Yamaha’s Chip Controlled Intake) funnels, revised air box, revised “Mid Ship” 4-into-2-into-1 exhaust system and revised ECU mapping, the R6 of 2010 looks set to be a little fire cracker.
