Oxford Heated Grips – Recommended By Two Wheel Training – Banish Cold Fingers and Hands

Oxford Hot Grips

Being a Motorcycle Instructor for the past 12 years has seen me, and my pupils, riding in all weathers including the depths of winter.

Oxford Heated Grips are not a luxury if you ride your bike all year round. They are a must have. Even with a good pair of winter motorcycling gloves the wind chill does its worst and hands can get seriously cold. Hands can then become painful and this in turn will affect the riders concentration which could prove dangerous.

So I find one of the best combinations is Oxford Heated Grips along with a pair of waterproof medium weight motorcycle gloves such as the Weise Tahko Waterproof gloves. I recommend medium weight gloves as the thicker heavyweight glove does not allow the heat from the heated grip to find its way to your hands, basically acting as a barrier. Also waterproof gloves are of great benefit as, even if it’s not raining when you set out on your journey, this type of glove will have a membrane which prevents a massive amount of wind chill.

Oxford Hot Grips 2

Oxford Heated Grips are available for the Sports, Touring, Adventure, Commuter and Scooter riders starting from only £39.99. They also come with heat setting choices so you can turn them up or down to suit your needs making toasty hands happy hands.

Over the years I have also found them to be excellent value for money and very robust lasting for many seasons despite the fact I have given them some hammer!

See you on the road.

Kath

Kath has worked with at Two Wheel since 2004. Having worked in our sales, service and accounts departments throughout the years she now works as part of the ever growing internet ales team. Kath is a valuable member of the team, although that wasn't always so. She says "When I first started here I was quite young and I dont think Pete realised my potential, so he gave me menial tasks like weeding the car park!" Well, Pete has never looked back. Completely efficient, Kath is an asset wherever you find her in the building.
