We’re happy to report that Scorpion have re-released their incredibly popular Serket Exhaust for the Triumph Tiger Explorer.
The re-release occurred as a result of a small number of reports that excessive heat from the exhaust was causing some melting of the indicator.
Scorpion, being the excellent company that they are, were true to form and sorted the issue swiftly, despite the problem occurring in only a tiny percentage of the Explorer exhausts which they have supplied.
They re-designed the link pipe to place it further underneath the bike (doing away with the original heat shield as a result), as well as bringing the mounting bracket 50mm further forward, which consequently brought the can forward. Furthermore, they have made the angle at which the can sits less acute, so as to direct exhaust gases downwards more so than previously.
The new set-up was tested with luggage fitted too, with no resulting issues.
