The NEW AGV Grid Rossi Sun and Moon ’96
Valentino Rossi sped onto the world championship scene in 1996.
Despite failing to finish five of the season’s races and crashing several times, in August the following year, he won his first 125cc World Championship Grand Prix at Brno in the Czech Republic on an AGV Aprilia RS125R. We all must have had an inkling that there was more to come from this Italian Prodigy. And we were not wrong.
Rossi went on to win one 500cc World Championship and an amazing seven MotoGP World Championships. A celebrated rider all over the world, his talent evident to all who witness his riding ability.
And for 2012 AGV have decided that to celebrate Valentinos career so far, what better way than to reproduce his original helmet he began racing with in 1996. The design however has been manufactured onto the AGV Grid – the new premium helmet with all the integrated features which enable AGV to be incomparable to many other brands.
The ‘Sun and Moon’ quirky design on this helmet wil be recognisable to Rossi fans all over. And with the evident protection and comfort the helmet also incorporates, at £374.99 it will not hang around for long. Everyone desiring a piece of ‘Retro Rossi’. I advise pre-ordering so as not to miss out on this little piece of history.
