Scorpion have just announced the release of their Serket exhaust for the Triumph Tiger 1200 Explorer (2012 onwards).
The Triumph Explorer is proving a heavyweight contender in the adventure bike world, so the release of the Scorpion Serket is a timely and welcomed development.
Performance is everything with the Serket. The weight saving of the Explorer silencer is a whopping 3.7kgs, and you can expect a power increase of 6bhp (124bhp in total).
The Serket is available in a carbon, satin titanium or stainless steel finish, and is designed to either a parallel or taper finish. Scorpion have chosen to release the Tiger 1200 Explorer Serket in parallel to emulate the lines of the bike. As the old adage goes, ‘if it’s not broken, don’t fix it’, and Scorpion have done a cracking job of preserving the great look of the Explorer whilst upping performance and downing the weight.
