One item I have never found particularly attractive and therefore had the motivation to write about and promote to the readers of these blogs, are short motorcycle boots. I have not once come across a pair of these boots that I would actually wear myself whilst riding about – never mind pop into the pub into them when I pull up!
But how does the saying go? Never say never? Well, as part of the new 2012 RST range, the RST Stunt Boots have now been introduced to the motorcycle world. And at the preview, these instantly caught my eye.
Initally surprised I had spotted a pair of short boots which appealed to my selective taste, I was wary to see if the features would live up to the appearance. And in true RST style..of course, they did.
Manufactured from a PU coated leather construction, they have a strong outer material. With built-in PU shin, ankle and heel protection, the strength of these short boots really should not be underestimated. With a vulcanized anti-slip rubber sole it is extremely durable, and not forgetting the moulded anti-twist mid sole. The gear change toe pad and heavy duty lace and velcro closure, are some great features to assist comfort and easy riding. With a profile touring cut these boots are guaranteed to fit perfectly for long journeys.
And not forgetting the appearance of this boot (a short boot not being the most stylish product manufactured by brands) I can safely say I wouldn’t mind popping into the pub in these. A casual look, with a fashionable and finished feel, at just £59.99 (or £64.99 with the heel cup) these RST Stunt Boots can be the only option for the causal rider in 2012.
