The Weise S-Type jacket is one of our particular favourites. Mid-way in the price range at £129.99, and available in all sizes from XS to XXXL, it is a great all round jacket.
So it doesn’t have the all singing, all dancing colour of the Hornet Jacket, and neither does it have the super water-removing technology of the Dynastar jacket, but what it does do, it does very well.
For a start, it is waterproof. That is to say it has a ISOTEX waterproof, windproof and breathable drop lining, alongside a removable thermal lining.
Next up, it has a big helping of CE approved armour. With protection to the shoulders, elbows and back, you can rest assured you wouldn’t get better in a jacket twice the price.
