Two Wheel Centre are proud to announce that we are backing Barry Snowdon for National Council Worker of the Year!
A local customer, Barry has been shortlisted in the bravery category of the awards for his selfless acts of heroism whilst out on his rounds in Warsop, Nottinghamshire.
So, what has Barry done to deserve this attention? Well, he only averted a major explosion and single handedly brought down a hand bag thief. Yes, he put out a blaze on a vehicle which had a cargo of flammable gas bottles, parked next to a petrol station, and earlier, whilst on his duties, he chased down a thief and held him down under the police arrived.
Barry’s bike of choice is currently a Suzuki GSXR750. In fact, he recently brought it in to us as the F1 light was fixed on, and although we fixed it, we were definitely not as heroic as Barry himself!
