Air Ambulance Charity Bike Ride On Sunday 26th May – Show Your Support!

Taking place this Sunday May 26th is a charity bike ride from MFN in Eastwood, Nottingham to Skegness in aid of the Air Ambulance service.

Air Ambulance Service

As I am sure you would all agree, the Air Ambulance (Warwickshire & Northamptonshire AA and Derbyshire, Leicester & Rutland AA) is an absolutely essential service and a great friend to us all – especially us bikers out there. It is a totally charity run organisation (i.e. no Government or National Lottery Funding) which attends on average six emergency call outs a day at a cost of £1400.00 each time.

The charity bike ride is due to begin with a meet-up at 9am, before a bike ride to Skegness and back (including a view of all the sights) starting at 10am. There will be a raffle before the start of the ride-out and refreshments will be available. Although you are free to give as little or as much as you choose, there is a suggestion of £10.00 per bike with ALL proceeds going direct to charity.

Skegness Logo

It is a charity very close to all our hearts here at Two Wheel Centre as a member of staff was actually rescued by them a few years ago and I think it is safe to say that without this charity, she would not be with us today. We are showing our support by advertising this event and by providing a raffle prize in the shape of a £25.00 gift voucher to use in-store or on-line.

So please, please, please, show your support for this fantastic cause and get yourself along this Sunday for not only a day of fun but also much essential fund-raising!

If you require any further information please do not hesitate to visit MFN’s website or if you are unable to attend but would still like to donate, why not visit the Air Ambulance website which includes tons of information including ways on how you can Donate to the Air Ambulance.

Kath

Kath has worked with at Two Wheel since 2004. Having worked in our sales, service and accounts departments throughout the years she now works as part of the ever growing internet ales team. Kath is a valuable member of the team, although that wasn't always so. She says "When I first started here I was quite young and I dont think Pete realised my potential, so he gave me menial tasks like weeding the car park!" Well, Pete has never looked back. Completely efficient, Kath is an asset wherever you find her in the building.
