HJC Helmets 2016 – What’s New From HJC?

HJC are really spoiling us in 2016, with 3 new HJC helmets and plenty of attention-grabbing graphics.

We have some good news for you… the HJC Helmets range on our website now includes all the shiny new 2016 lids for you to browse and buy. Here’s our run-down of what’s changed from last year, including the THREE new helmets which have expanded HJC’s huge range.

Lorenzo fans rejoice – the HJC RPHA 11 is here!

HJC Helmets 2016 RPHA 11 OK, so you don’t have to be a Jorge Lorenzo fan to be interested in the HJC RPHA 11 helmet – but this just happens to be the actual helmet that Lorenzo wore when he sped to victory in MotoGP 2015. This is one of the contenders for the ultimate race helmet, now available to keep you safe on the track.

The new PIM+ shell material makes this helmet light as a feather, with six layers of high-tech and natural fibres weighing just 1300g. The shell is super-strong, aerodynamically brilliant and stable at speeds of 177 km/h (tested in HJC’s wind tunnel).

Another exciting development is HJC’s emergency cheek pad release system, which brings the RPHA 11 up to date with Shoei’s top-end helmets. HJC have improved everything on this helmet, from ventilation to visor locking. It comes in such a huge range of graphics that you’ll be spoilt for choice, including the Lorenzo Indy (pictured).

When you buy the HJC RPHA 11 from us at Two Wheel Centre, we’re offering a little extra bonus: a free pair of Ugly Fish sunglasses worth £34.99, with every helmet in the RPHA range.

The HJC IS-33 2 – the next generation

HJC Helmets 2016 IS-33 2One of the marks of a great helmet brand is innovation, and HJC have shown plenty of that with their new IS-33 2 helmet. Not happy to settle for a good thing, HJC have bettered their popular open-face offering, the IS-33, with new features and a new design.

The IS-33 2 is actually a good option for touring, with a drop-down adjustable sun visor that can now be set at 3 lengths. Ventilation has been streamlined (avoiding mucky, blocked vents!) and the visor reaches down below the chin for better weather protection.

Keeping all the plus points of its predecessor, HJC have made some improvements and widened the size range – for no extra cost! This helmet is perfect for the everyday biker, not too hard on your wallet and suitable for a variety of riding styles. Take a look at the IS-33 2 range on our website to find out more.

CL-SP – the full face Helmet for larger head sizes

HJC CL-SP Helmet 2016Are you getting tired of asking to try on yet another XXL, knowing it won’t fit? Do you have to settle for poor quality lids that barely last you 5 years? Then you’re in luck. The new HJC CL-SP helmet is designed especially for larger heads, with all the HJC quality you’d expect.

The CL-SP only comes in 3XL and 4XL, and although it only comes in black (for now), it’s a step forward for the HJC Helmets 2016 range. This helmet is more than a token, though. Take a closer look at the CL-SP and you’ll see that HJC have made a decent helmet available to a much wider range of riders.

With advanced channeling ventilation and moisture-wicking interior, the CL-SP is built for comfort. It has a Pinlock-ready, 99% UV blocking visor with RapidFire™ tool-free replacement. It’s also ACU Gold approved, so you can use it on track days and on the road!

Graphics galore

So, now you’ve seen the new helmets, let’s see what new graphics HJC have introduced for 2016…

HJC Helmets 2016 IS-17 Lank YellowHJC’s IS-17 helmet already comes in a huge range of graphics. Now, there are even more, with the Armada graphic coming in two new colours. This is joined by the new Lank and Tridents, adding an extra edgy look to this popular full face helmet. The IS-17 Lank in Yellow (pictured) is our favourite for its bright lightning design.

The HJC RPHA ST range also has three new graphics: the Turok, Zaytun and Stacer. These bring some much needed colour to the range, including some eye-catching yellow for extra visibility on the road.

The relatively new FG-ST range has also expanded, with the Cinnati and Bolt graphics joining this colourful line-up.

HJC’s CS-MX off-road helmet also benefits from some new designs, with the Kenta graphic in Blue/White and Black/White. Perfect for showing off on the dirt track or matching your bike, there are plenty of colours available in the CS-MX range.

The FG-70s open face helmet, introduced last year, is a vintage helmet with modern safety and great design flair. This year, the Tales graphic in 3 colours provides even more options for the retro rider.

Other new helmet graphics in the HJC 2016 range include the flip-front IS-Max 2 Mine and the children’s CL-Y Goli.

New Jorge Lorenzo Replicas

HJC Helmets 2016 FG-ST Lorenzo Devil 99HJC have made sure that whatever your budget this year, fans of the triple world champion can own a Lorenzo helmet to pay tribute. For starters, there’s the top-end RPHA 10+ Sparteon, a stunning golden helmet that’s definitely worth showing off.

If your wallet won’t stretch that far, the IS-17 Lorenzo Angel 99 could be right up your street. Its darker twin, the FG-ST Lorenzo Devil 99, is pictured (right) in all its glory.
