So, after the roaring success of the Two Wheel Centre’s Ride Out last year in aid of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance, we are excited to announce a repeat performance on Sunday 18th May 2014. Last year almost 100 riders joined us and we raised over £1500 to help keep the yellow bird flying above our heads, helping us in our hour of need. They provide an incredible service and are funded totally by donations.
The plan is to meet at the Two Wheel Centre at Mansfield Woodhouse at 9am for bacon /egg cobs and tea/coffee. Raffle tickets will be available and we have some fabulous prizes (raffle tickets can also be purchased online prior to the event). We will then fire up the bikes and set out for Willingham Woods via Retford, Gainsborough and Market Rasen, where we will regroup for our return journey to the Two Wheel Centre via Lincoln, Newark and Ollerton. Route maps will be available on the day. This will be an ace ride out and all riders are welcome, so regardless of whether you ride a superbike or a commuter we would love to see you!
We plan to arrive back at the Two Wheel Centre for approximately 1pm, at which point the raffle will be drawn. Prizes include an RST Adventure Jacket and Jeans worth £450, a HJC IS-17 helmet worth £170, a Scorpion stainless steel exhaust worth £300, a pair of Gerbing XR12 heated gloves worth £160, many pairs of BSB tickets and 2 x £100 vouchers to spend at TWC. Some dazzling prizes for sure!
Entry for the ride is £5 per bike. All proceeds will be donated to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance. So let’s saddle up and ride them out on Sunday 18th May 2014 – it will be a great fun day and all for a great cause!
