Having mentioned here on my blog a few weeks ago, that after seeing the RST 2013 collection, we could not have been more excited to continue as an official RST UK stockist. And now we are able to present to you THE racing suit to be seen in, in 2013 – the RST Pro Series CPX-C 1 Piece Suit.
RST told us on our visit that the CPX-C Suit has been used to set the bar for their 2013 collection. If that is the case, then we really are in for a treat next year!
This suit has been developed completely from scratch with the help of riders such as Tommy Hill straight from the BSB Paddock – now if that isn’t the best selling point you’ve ever heard, I’m not quite sure what is.
Constructed from the highest quality materials, and the strongest triple and double stitched seam manufacturing, not to forget the YKK zips, these are all features we have come to expect from such an established brand. The CPX-C Carbon shoulder and knee protection is one feature that I truly love about this suit. In the place of just the internal CE Approved Armour that features on every RST suit, they have now added what could be called carbon sliders to the outside areas of the knees and shoulders of the suit. This reduces friction and drag in the event of a fall, which really does lessen the chance of your body getting stuck in a slide and resulting in broken collarbones and knees.
With the Kevlar stretch panels used throughout, an aerodynamically attractive race hump, compound knee sliders (which can be replaced of course) and a comfort lining on your cuffs and collar, the features of the suit are the finest you will have seen so far.
