Looking for a new ride? Check out these new Peugeot scooters!

Take a look at what Peugeot have to offer in 2017…

Peugeot scooters are the epitome of French elegance and joie de vivre – in other words, their scooters are a cracking great ride and look fetching on the road! For 2017, there are several new Peugeot scooters joining the fleet and we’d like to introduce you to some of them.

Peugeot Django in learner-friendly 50cc

new Peugeot scooters Django Heritage Rocky BlueIn 2015, Peugeot gave learners the opportunity to grab independence on a stunning retro scooter from the Django range, with the same high build quality and vintage design of its larger capacity siblings.

The 50cc models were limited to the Django S, Sport and Evasion designs. Now, these have been joined by the rest of the Django range, giving AM licence holders even more choice in new Peugeot scooters.

The Django Heritage 50cc is the most obviously 50’s inspired of the range, with gleaming chrome and round mirrors. It’s available in a range of perfect pastels: Milky White, Velvet Green and Rocky Blue (pictured). There’s also a smart Black Star option.

At the top of the Django range is the Allure, with its two-tone paintwork and integrated luggage. The new 50cc version includes the same standout design features and is available in Icy White, Blackcurrant, Chocolate and Satin Flash Silver. If you’re new to two wheels, why not start with a scooter to be proud of?

Three wheel perfection – the new Metropolis 400

New Peugeot scooters Metropolis 400 RXRPeugeot’s three wheeler range brings the best of cars and scooters together, with the ability to beat traffic on a stable, comfortable bike. Gems from the car world, such as the Smart Key and electric parking brake, have been retained in the new Metropolis models.

For 2017, Peugeot have given the Metropolis a technical boost with an ABS system, improving your safety and control. This gives an impressive 23% reduction in stopping distance, compared to the old SBC models.

There’s also a traction control system (TCS) included. This is helpful to ensure your grip on the road, whether you’re bombing down the motorway or crawling through traffic.

Another innovation is the automatic warning lights for emergency braking, which is a first in the two or three wheel markets! This comes on to warn other drivers when you’re decelerating fast – hopefully avoiding accidents.

As well as techie advances, the new Metropolis 400 gets wider front wheels at 13″, improving stability. It’s also been streamlined in looks, with a slightly sharper and more modern design. This looks even better in the special Metropolis 400 RXR (pictured) and Metropolis 400 RS models.
