If you haven’t already laid your eyes on the new breed of Speedfight, prepare to be amazed. The completely revised plastics give the appearance of sharper lines, and whilst the 3 is about the same weight as the 2, it looks bigger – and meaner.
Looks aside though, what’s so good?
Well, we might as well start at the wheels. The SF3 has larger 13″ wheels for increased handling capability, and nothing but the latest technology when it comes to braking. The new dual piston radial caliper works with the 215mm Shuricane front disc brake to produce unprecented braking capacity and stability. The re-positioning of the fuel tank to a more central position also means the SF3 has a much lower centre of gravity, offering yet more stability during handling.
The new Speedfight boasts a fully digital dashboard (the old design was partially analogue), and it even has a charging point for your mobile phone and mp3 player. Still not impressed? How about an optional sound system then? Pull over, pop the seat to reveal a speaker system, plug in your mp3 player, and boom, you have loud music.
What’s more, if you upgrade to the RS model, you get the exclusive black and racy red paint job, complete with red calipers and suspension.
