Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship: Taz Taylor

How did number six fare with Taz Taylor for round two of the Pirelli Superstock 600 Championship?

Taz Taylor Superstock 600 Championship

Taz Taylor’s beaming yellow wasp bike, has carried him for consistency in the two races of the Superstock 600 Championship this year. The first race, held at Silverstone 2016, was host to his sixth place win. Oulton Park, for the second, was host to another sixth place.

Leading the race Taz was in pole position for Pacedayz Trackdays. Tackling a less than favourable, drying track, Taz held his own and raced well on the Yamaha YZF-R6, a bike he’s still adapting to after his previous season in the Moto3 class.

With each sixth place Taz is awarded ten points which leads him to placing, you guessed it, sixth place in the overall league standings. Davey Todd sits comfortably in the top spot, 18 points ahead of Taz after he finished six places above him, in first, at Oulton Park.

A smaller sight to set Taz’s riding goals on might be to inch ahead of NMT No Limits Kawasaki rider Jordan Weaving, sitting in fifth of the championship standings. With only two points separating them a slight edge could move him up one space after Brands Hatch on 22nd May.
