The Sidi ST boot is another high spec boot, however this one is more focused at the regular road rider. That doesn’t mean that the ST boot is any less ready to get down and dirty on the track! The Sidi ST boots offer the same impact and abrasion resistance as the more race orientated Vortice boot but with a lower price point and a comfortable fit for longer periods of riding.
The same safety points of the Vortice boot have been incorporated into the ST boot. The fully functional exoskeleton of the boot braces the leg and provides support should the worst occur. This exoskeleton allows for a free range of movement and doesn’t inhibit your riding but will prevent hyperextension of the ankle.
The Lorica construction of the Sidi ST boots mirrors that of many boots in the Sidi range. The Lorica material is designed to be strong, lightweight and with high heat and abrasion resistance. The material is also very breathable, making for an ideal summer road boot.
Further breathability comes in the form of the ventilation that can be opened and closed manually to allow air into the boot, while the vents at the rear of the boot allow the warm air to escape rather than stagnating and leaving you with sweaty feet. The air can circulate freely thanks to the Air Teflon mesh lining in the boot. This 3D lining creates pockets in the boot that the air can move in and out of for free air circulation.

The Adventure 2 Gore boots, as the name suggests, contain a Gore-Tex membrane designed to prevent water from entering your boot, leaving you free to explore the world on your bike without the displeasure of soggy socks. Gore-Tex fabrics contain microscopic pores that allow vapour to escape from your boots and leaving you with dry feet. There are 9 billion pores per square inch and these pores are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet! Water droplets can’t enter, but as your feet perspire, the water vapour can escape! The ideal membrane for an adventure and touring boot!
Sidi Adventure 2 Gore boots offer a free range of movement for a comfortable riding experience. These boots are good to go straight out of the box, no breaking them in! However, don’t mistake this flexibility for weakness; the Adventure 2 Gore boots have passed extensive testing for abrasion and tear resistance from Sidi and has resulted in the boots being CE approved. Further protection comes from the PU shin plate, shock resistant heel and other external armour, leaving you free to ride both on and off the road in total safety.
