Local side-car racing duo, Ben and Tom Birchall of Birchall Racing, have been busy practicing for the Isle of Man TT.
Sponsored by Two Wheel Centre (Mansfield) Ltd, the Birchall brothers are having a less-than-desired run up to the TT, with fuel pump and ignition problems meaning that they have had less time to memorise the legendary course. The problems were said to be caused by the bumpy road surface (rather than the smooth short circuit racetracks) but, nevertheless, Ben and Tom seem hopeful that they have now solved the issues and that they can get back on track for the TT.
