By no means the baby brother…
Weighing in at just 188kg, the V-Strom 250 is significantly lighter than the 232kg V Strom 1000. Nevertheless the V Strom 250 is more than capable of performing the way that a V Strom should.
The 248cc parallel twin engine has been designed for optimum efficiency, creating ample low to mid-range torque for an easy handling ride. A lightweight, chassis with oil damped coil spring suspension in the front and rear and provides a bike that is capable of sporty riding when necessary but comfortable on the longer rides. These features also add superior handling and with a full tank range of up to 310 miles, the V Strom 250 is an ideal commuter bike for dealing with the urban jungle.
Helping you every step of the way
Suzuki’s Clutch Assist System works to help make riding the V Strom 250 a pleasurable and easy experience. The SCAS was originally designed for performance orientated motorcycles but improves the ride on the V Strom 250. It works as a slipper clutch, making it easier to change down gear rapidly while reducing the effect of engine braking. This makes for a sportier ride as well as a light usage lever for longer rides. 
Making your smartphone look obsolete
A generous helping of technology keeps the rider up to date with all matters regarding their bike. A reverse lit LCD dashboard provides information such as speedometer, RPM indicator, fuel gauge, oil change timing indicators and more!
