Yes, it is mid-October and winter is definitely snapping at our frost bitten heels. That means it’s time to have a re-think about your winter bike gear.
Today’s focus: Weise winter waterproof gloves.
First up, there’s the Weise Pacific Gloves (£69.99).

They’re the top-flight winter gloves of the Weise range, and it seems Weise have put everything into these gloves. For a start, they have the SPS (Scaphoid Protection System), which is a feature reserved for only the racier leather gloves in the range. Couple this with the carbon knuckle reinforcement and you’ve got one seriously strong winter glove. With waterproof and thermal liners, 3M reflective piping and a unique visor wipe to the fore finger, it seems the Weise Pacific Gloves are the complete package.
Next up, the Weise Oslo Waterproof Gloves (£59.99).

This full grain leather / nylon combo is the next step down from the Pacific Gloves. They too have the carbon reinforced knuckles and thermal/waterproof inner linings. What’s nice about these gloves though is the extra reflective banding on the cuffs, making them more visibile – an essential feature for winter motorcyclists.
Third in our list are the Weise Manx Waterproof Gloves (£49.99).
![]()
They’re a nice pair of full grain leather winter race gloves, which are reinforced at impact zones with Keprotec and reinforced at the knuckles with leather padding. They’re also the first winter gloves in the Weise range to come in a choice of red, blue or black, and the reflective panels to the middle fingers are especially well placed for getting seen.
Next up is one of our particular favourites, the Weise Aspen Gloves (£39.99).
![]()
The Aspens are a good looking pair of textile winter waterproof gloves, which are tapered in and elasticated at the wrists, with an additional draw cord at the cuff for a snug fit. They’ve got extensive reflective striping to the fingers and the back of the hand, and are finished off with a wonderful soft thermal waterproof liner.
Fancy something a bit odd? The Weise Matrix Mitt is next up (£39.99).
![]()
This nylon, twin fingered design is suprisingly popular! The cloved fingers are outlined in reflective piping, and once you get past the bizarre feel you’ll probably grow to really enjoy them. There are no armour reinforcements though.
Mid way through the range you’ll find the Weise Fusion Gloves (£29.99).
![]()
A colourful combo of full grain leather and nylon, these gloves have padded rubber inserts to the knuckles and side of the hand. They’re great budget gloves, doing everything that it says on the tin!
Last but certainly not least are the Weise Grid Waterproof Gloves (£29.99).
![]()
At the same price as the Fusion Gloves, the Grid Gloves just seem to have a little bit more ‘oomph’. They sport an additional Thinsulate thermal liner, and generally just look like a meaner winter glove. They’d definitely be our recommendation if you only had £30 to spend.
So there we go! We hope this quick-fire guide to the Weise winter glove range might help you make a decision!
