The HJC helmets 2017 range is now on our website!

Yep, that’s right – the 2017 HJC helmet collection is now on our website for you to browse at your leisure. This blog is here to help you navigate the many changes HJC have made and find the perfect lid for your 2017 adventures.

Oh and if you haven’t heard about them yet, make sure you check out the HJC superhero helmets on the TWC blog. We also have all the Marvel helmets on our site for you to take a closer look.

The RPHA 11 just got even better…

HJC RPHA 11 HJC Helmets 2017Last year, HJC unleashed their top-flight race helmet, the RPHA 11, as worn by Jorge Lorenzo in the 2015 MotoGP. The range has now been extended to include a new graphic, the RPHA 11 Vermo, available in Black, Red and Blue.

New additions also include a full carbon version for an even lighter, stronger helmet. It’s called the Lowin Carbon and comes in Black or Red (pictured).

Good news too for Star Wars fans, who have two special Star Wars tribute helmets to choose from in the RPHA 11 range: the Kylo Ren and the Boba Fett. Get out there and defend your track record!

Introducing the RPHA 70

It’s time to say goodbye to the RPHA ST, which is being replaced for 2017 by the all-new HJC RPHA 70. This exceptional sports touring helmet uses the same PIM Plus matrix shell as the RPHA 11 – and remarkably, even with an internal sun visor, it weighs the same.

HJC RPHA 11 Lif HJC Helmets 2017That’s not all the RPHA 70 shares with the RPHA 11. It’s built to be light, stable and fast, with the same wind-tunnel proven aerodynamics. It also shares a visor with its racing sibling.

With new ventilation, emergency cheek pad release and updated visor locking, the RPHA 70 is packed with techie bells and whistles – it’s everything you could want in a sports touring helmet.

The RPHA 70 starts off with four striking graphics, including the unmissable Lif (pictured); these will set you back £349.99. The plain options are priced at £319.99.

All change in the mid-range

The HJC Helmets 2017 range has really been beefed up in terms of graphics for their popular mid-range, touring and commuter helmets. Ever innovative, HJC have given us some great choices of new colours and patterns, all with a high quality HJC finish.

HJC FG-ST Crucial Pink HJC Helmets 2017The touring-focused FG-ST range now includes the sharp-looking Crucial graphic, in a super-bright Fluo Yellow as well as the more subtle Crucial Black, Crucial Red and Crucial Blue. There’s also a smaller Crucial Pink version (pictured) aimed at women riders.

The other new option in the FG-ST range is the Cinnati (link is to the blue version) available in three colours.

IS-17 gets two new graphics

The practical IS-17 helmet has been dressed up in graphics which are pretty unique this year – for example the Uruk graphic in Black, Blue, Red and Fluo Yellow. Perfect for getting noticed, the Uruk features a lot of modern, digital details.

If you’re not looking to stick out on the streets, the IS-17 Arcus (link to black version) offers a more toned-down touch of colour in a smart, stealthy modern design. The Arcus comes in Orange and Red as well as black.

CS-15 – the new budget offering from HJC

HJC CS-15 Songtan HJC Helmets 2017The CS-15 is a perfect starter helmet, or good news if your pennies are a little stretched after Christmas!

HJC’s great value successor to the CS-14 gets you a lot of helmet for the money. ACS ventilation, Nylex interior and a Pinlock-ready visor are all included, starting from £79.99 for solid colours.

The CS-15 comes in four shiny new graphics, but the one that stands out for us is the Songtan (pictured in Red). Featuring a camo pattern and tracks of bright colour, the Songtan also comes in Pink, Black and Fluo Green.

Retro FG-70S range extended

HJC’s FG-70S collection celebrates the golden age of biking in the UK. New graphics have been added this year as the retro motorcycle market expands.

Two of these new additions are the Vintage Matt Brown and Vintage Matt Black. These team distressed, high quality graphics with a patterned, quilted interior. A snap-shut goggle strap and retro side medallion add the finishing vintage touches.

Also joining the FG-70S range is the Burnout with a smooth matt black finish and checkered flag design.

MX Range Gets a Makeover

Both the adult and youth offerings in HJC’s 2017 MX range have been revamped, with much better ventilation and new shell shapes. The adult CS-MX 2 and the children’s CL-XY 2 both benefit from high-end ACS ventilation, with channels flushing warm air up and out of the helmet.

HJC CL-XY 2 Marvel Avengers 2017For off-road riders, the new CS-MX 2 offers a great value MX helmet with good ventilation and a new aerodynamic shell shape. The range is a little thin on the ground, with only the Graffed Yellow, Black and Red available for now – we look forward to seeing more graphics next year.

The CL-XY 2 is the ideal first helmet for your little biker, at just £79.99 for a quality MX helmet. This new lid comes in the Blaze graphic, available in three colours. For £119.99, there’s the extra-special Marvel Avengers helmet (pictured) with all your child’s favourite superheroes.
