Why Weise?

Weise is wonderful for a whole bike-load of reasons; winners of the “Rider Product Brand of the Year” 2013, style, protection, broad product range, good-looking catologue models… But what really cuts the chassis is their heritage. When scanning the motorcycle clothing market, we can see Draggin Jeans are cool, slick, stylish Kevlar® jeans, and we love ’em, designed by Aussies with Aussies in mind. But many of us Brits tend to favour tradition over trendy, and practicality over style, which is where Weise fit into the market.

All of Weise’s clothing is designed to a stringent high-standard with quality being their primary concern and it seems to work as our Parts manager Karl reported we never get any Weise returns! All products are fitted with protective armour as standard, and many of them pass the CE European standard for abrasion. The top of the range textile, Avance, jacket conforms to the CE EN13595 level 2, is designed with reflective stripes and has a waterproof, windproof and breathable drop lining, often favoured by professionals such as emergency services’ riders.

The range is dominated by men’s textile jackets, trousers and a few swanky leathers but the Weise Venus and adorable Abi trousers (that were affectionately named after Two Wheel Centre’s online sales manager Abi Scott!), with matching waterproof Gemma gloves, were designed exclusively for females.

Another reason we have confidence in Weise is the way they run their shop. The entire range is created with a Weise rep’ overseeing and monitoring the production, both to ensure the product is developed to a high quality and that the workers creating them are treated fairly.
