The Alpinestars Andes Drystar jacket is a fantastic addition to the 2013 range of Alpinestars motorcycle protective clothing and is now in stock here at Two Wheel Centre ready to be ordered and shipped out to you!
The Andes Drystar jacket is a really versatile water-proof touring-style jacket which has Alpinestars’ Drystar Technology enabling you to wear it all year long. The Drystar membrane is multi-layered and has been engineered for moisture permeability, breathability and durability.
With an in-built ventilation control system with zippered shoulder air intakes and back exhaust vents for internal climate control and a removable long-sleeved thermal liner too, all of this adds up to a jacket that you can simply wear in all weather conditions: dry, wet, wind and cold in absolute comfort.
The styling of the jacket is also really well thought-out for optimal everyday wear with an abundance of comfort and safety features for the wearer such as an integrated soft edge collar construction for comfort over long distances and an upper sleeve volume adjustment and waist adjustment belt which enables the jacket to be a highly customizable fit for the wearer.
On the safety front impact protection is provided by removable CE-certified Bio-Armor elbow and shoulder protector and the chest and back pad compartments have poly-foam padding fitted as standard with CE-certified Bio-Armor back protector inserts available fore purchase separately.
The cut of this stylish jacket is mid-length and is available in four colour options – black, grey/black, light grey black and yellow fluo/black in sizes small through to 4XL. The Alpinestars Andes jacket is all ready to be used in conjunction with the Alpinestars Alpinestars Andes Drystar trousers (available in the same colour options at only £149.99) through an internal waist zipper connection.
And with a price-tag of only £179.99, the Alpinestars Andes jacket is really reasonable priced when compared against other all weather jackets such as the RST Pro Series Adventure jacket which will set you back a further £40.00 – a point which I think should certainly not be overlooked!
